A little history about us
M&S Mobile Productions entertainment & lighting services was formed in 2001 by an uprising DJ; Mike Stephens. Mike had a vision of creating a unique mobile entertainment company that strives to provide the best possible forms of entertainment, lighting, and Photobooths for special events and weddings. Mike comes from a performing arts background and became very passionate about music, public speaking ,and entertaining people while in his teenage years. Mike was not afraid to share his passion with others and to set out to create his own mobile entertainment business. He began to DJ events one by one and gained knowledge and experience from each event and always made sure each client was highly satisfied. Mike obtains new clients from referrals because they know the value that he provides as a trusted & experienced professional entertainment provider. Mike also welcomes new clients who are searching for professional entertainment or lighting for their event. Mike has an extensive list of reviews from clients on the quality of his services. Mike constantly adapts to new market trends and attends advanced training in wedding entertainment, event management, and lighting/video production.
Mike has also held numerous residencies at several nightclubs in Augusta, GA and was invtied to guest DJ at several nightclubs throughout the country. Mike is known for creating unique and memorable events, his high energy mixes, amazing microphone "MC" skills, and dedication to his clients and their events.
Mike took his talents to the wedding market in the Spring of 2004, when he was asked to DJ the wedding of his very own dental hygienist in Augusta, Georgia. After a huge success with his very first wedding, Mike made the decision to dedicate his passion and direct his full talents as a professional DJ and entertainer. Mike has since developed a unique and personalized service for providing clients with an amazing experience and provides them with the tools to deliver a perfect event.
Mike was also taught to give back to his community and help those in need.
He has donated his services to numerous fundraisers whose proceeds were given 100% to different charities across the country. Mike also donated his services for the American Red Cross relief fund to help the families of the 9/11 attacks. Mike has helped to raise several large donations for these important causes and is thankful to have helped others in need. Each of Mike's donations were featured in the Columbia County News Times and Augusta Chronicle newspaper.
With now over 15+ years of dedicated entertainment experience and with well over 1000+ events performed, Mike has created a solid accreditation and reputation as being one of the best entertainment companies in the southeast. Mike believes that professionalism, attention to detail, prior planning, and dedication to service are all crucial parts of every perfectly planned event and he looks forward to working with you for your next event!
DJ-PHIL
Phillip has had a passion for mixing music ever since the days of when mixtapes were all the hype. Phil was known as the "mixtape man" of the era and was always creating unique mixes to give to his friends. He grew up in a military family and has traveled the globe exploring new music and cultures.
His passion for being a master of the music in his younger years has now developed into a special talent of making lasting memories for amazing events.
He has a huge heart paired with a warm and inviting personality and is grateful to have the opportunity to share his passions for numerous weddings, special events, celebrities, and corporate events. Phil embraces all cultures and enjoys seeing clients and their guests enjoy every moment of their event!
Brandon Deer
Brandon "DJ Deer" was hired to the company several years ago to explore his interests in wedding entertainment. He shadowed with Mike at over 100 weddings before he was allowed to become one of our wedding DJ's. Brandon has demonstrated a strong passion and understanding of how a wedding should be properly handled and delivers the exciting and memorable experience that wedding clients expect!
Brandon was taught the art of mixing music the "old school" way by using actual turntables (you know the spinning music player that your parents had). Brandon uses the latest in digital technology combined with his love of the turntables to spin out the highest quality music from the decks. This gives him an added edge on the competition because of how intricate mixing music on turntables can be. Brandon has performed at many weddings as our lead DJ with amazing testimonials from the Brides and their families. Brandon dedicates his time and attention to our clients to ensure he has full understanding of the wedding announcements and music preferences that you choose.
Brandon also enjoys to DJ corporate events and holiday parties. He has performed for many of these events including clients from Plant Vogtle and GRU.
